#Vanlife

I did a thing!…I got a van and hopped on the #vanlife train….although it’s not full time gig for me but maybe someday it will be. Long story short, I love it!

My goal is not just to travel along the open roads of the US but be involved in social activism with my social work background. And as I continue to work from the road and at home, it feels important to give back rather than just use resources and take up space.

In the next posts, I will share my stories and experiences being an almost 50 year old (gasp) part time van dweller.

excited to share more! for a big handful of photos of the adventure so far check out my Instagram @maryserphos

Marin Nomad

As a photographer, writer, psychotherapist and nature lover, I am passionate about living in Marin County, CA. The perfect home base, Fairfax, CA is where I get out daily on the miles and miles of open space and find inspiration and plot my next journey out of Marin into the world. The Marin Nomad site was born in 2014 out of a desire to share some of what I experience here in Marin and during my travels. The world has been through a lot since then, especially recently and there a need more than ever to be out in the natural world.
